A.M Conservation provides over 20 years specialist knowledge by highly skilled conservators. We strive to keep our practice up to date with innovative museum techniques, and materials through specialised classes and personal research. We provide ethical and sustainable conservation restoration procedures at the highest quality to private clients, commercial galleries, public institutions, heritage organisation, and insurance companies.

A.M Conservation was established by Angela McDowell. Angela is a practical experienced conservator. She received an MA in the Conservation Of Fine Art Easel Painting. Newcastle, and a BA Honours in the Conservation and Restoration of Furniture. Manchester. She completed a two-year easel painting conservation internship and opened her first studio in 2003 in Southern California. Her clients included private collectors, museums, commercial gallery's, insurance companies and television studios. After 18 years she returned home opening her current studio offering the high standard of conservation that she became known for in Southern California, practising minimal Intervention respecting the integrity and social history off the item.
